When I heard the words interior designer, the first things that came to mind were; major renovations to my home and expense. Vanessa Banks from Banks Interiors changed my whole conception of what an interior designer can do for your home. The first thing she did was come into my home and talk about what my dream home looked like to me. We talked about color and space as well. Then, she asked if she could look at some of the items hidden away in my china cabinet. In no time, she was recommending a few changes in furniture placement and how to display items that I had stored away that I did not know where to place. Just those few changes were extraordinary! My home took on a completely different feel. This inspired me to paint and add a few pieces of new furniture. The last touches were window treatments and splashes of color with throw pillows and decorative pieces. Little did I know that this was not at all a major renovation of my home or a huge expense that I thought came with interior design. Vanessa's trained eye for color and space coupled with my vision made for a wonderful change to our home. I love what Vanessa has done for our family!
